Blocks in Progress

Here's some pics of some quilt blocks I'm in the middle of making for a couple of my nephews for Christmas. I feel a little guilty posting this though, because I've got nephews coming out of my ears, and I can't promise equal treatment. I'll try though. . . eventually. . .  Anyway, here's a few blocks from Luke's-to-be superhero quilt:

Are your spidey senses tingling yet? I'm excited. I just hope I don't ruin them with the satin stitching. Still trying to teach this steady fingers skill to my hands. I also tend to bite off more than I can chew detail-wise. Christmas isn't that far away!
So here's a few cars from Grant's car quilt. By the way, both of these are alphabet quilts too (A for Avenger, B for Batman, C for Captain America), here we've got H- the Hulk, B- Batman, R- Robin, S - Superman, and N- Nightcrawler. Below is B- VW bug. F- Ferrari, M- Monster truck, and X- BMW X-series.

Okay, that last one is a stretch, but how many makes or models of cars are an X? Q was hard too (Audi Quattro). Actually, the funniest one is W- Station Wagon. Just had to put a wagon on there. Hope Grant likes it!

Allright Already!

Ok, I've been asked for pictures of our third child a few times. She IS adorable, but completing all the steps necessary to get pics to family seems to be escaping me. AND, when looking through the pics on the camera, I found this one:
Triple cuteness right? Costco has awesome costumes. Anyway, on to more cuteness. You know that thoughtful newborn look? Well, now you do:
And then there's the look that says, "whatever, Dad.":
Okay, one more, one more. Gotta get that smile:
I know there hasn't been much here that's substantive, but picture demanding relatives will be picture demanding relatives. I just gotta get into a rhythm. That's really what this blog is about anyway.
